Fix the most common qs-yacht problems: SQL and framework errors, no available yacht, money type, invisible yachts and game build, doorbell, stash and wardrobe, radio, decorating limits and Tebex transaction IDs.
What goes wrong most often, what it actually means, and what to do about it. With Config.Debug = true, most of these also leave a line in the server console or the F8 console that names the cause.
The manifest depends on ox_lib and screenshot-basic. If either is missing or starts later, FXServer refuses to start qs-yacht. Ensure both, plus oxmysql, above it in server.cfg.
No framework was detected. es_extended, qb-core or qbx_core must be started before qs-yacht. A renamed framework resource has to be added to the frameworks list at the top of config/main.lua.
The SQL was not imported, or only half of it. Run database/main.sql and then esx.sql or qb.sql, and restart. See Installation.
Your server has no esx_datastore. That row is only used by the built-in ESX wardrobe — skip it if you use a clothing script such as illenium-appearance or qs-appearance.
Config.Debug ships as true. Set it to false once the install works; that also removes the /createyacht test command.
All 42 berths are owned. A berth only frees up when its yacht is sold to the bank. Lower Config.MaxYachtsPerPlayer if a few players are holding most of them.
Yachts, upgrades, flags and furniture are charged from Config.MoneyType, which is bank by default. Change it to money (ESX) or cash (QBCore) to charge cash instead.
The player reached Config.MaxYachtsPerPlayer. A Tebex purchase ignores the limit when bypassMaxOwnedCount is on.
Your weather script is not one the shop knows how to pause. Add its pause and resume events to client/custom/weather/weather.lua.
Berths 36 – 41 use maps from later DLCs. Raise sv_enforceGameBuild to a build that includes The Contract. For any berth, also check that no other resource removes or replaces the yacht map files (apa_yacht_grp…).
Only the owner and key holders open the door, enter the bridge and use the stash. Anyone else rings the bell with G — or the owner gives them a key from Key Management.
The bell only reaches the owner, and only while they are online and inside the cabin. An owner on the deck or on the bridge does not hear it, and key holders cannot answer it.
The menu opens near your yacht only — within 500 m of it. Go to the yacht, then type the command.
They do not exist until the owner places them: Yacht Management → Locate Storage / Locate Wardrobe, stand on the spot and press G. Storage and wardrobe furniture from the decorator works too.
Guests cannot open stashes. For key holders and the owner, the inventory was not detected — check that it starts before qs-yacht and is on the supported list, or pin it as shown in Integrations. With the Vault upgrade, a wrong code shows "Invalid vault code".
No sound resource is running — start xsound, qs-3dsound or mx-surround before qs-yacht. If one is running, try a different link: YouTube only plays a video inside another program when its owner allows embedding.
Correct behaviour. Only the owner and key holders may drive the yacht's vehicles; everyone else rides as a passenger.
Another player is already in that spot. Each one is held by a single player and frees itself when they leave or disconnect.
Another owner or key holder is decorating the same yacht. Only one decorator is allowed at a time; it is released when they close it or disconnect.
The free camera went further than Config.MaximumDistanceForDecorate (350 m) from where the decorator was opened. Raise it, or set it to false for no limit.
The yacht holds 50 pieces, or 150 with the Furniture Upgrade. Pieces put in storage still count — sell the ones you do not need. Both limits are in Config.FurnitureLimits.
Watching cameras needs the Security Camera System upgrade, and at least one camera placed from the Dynamic page of the decorator.
One of three things:
sv_tebexSecret is missing from server.cfg — the console warns about it after start.
The transaction does not contain a package named exactly like packageName. The console prints the package names it received.
The ID was mistyped. It has the form tbx-xxxxx-xxxxx.
The ID already bought maxYachtPerTransaction yachts. A used ID stays used for good, even if the yacht was sold since.
The redeem command was run from the server console or by Tebex itself. It saves the ID to the player who types it, so it only works in game. Remove it from the package's game commands; players redeem in the shop or in chat.
