Find solutions to common issues and errors that may occur during installation, configuration, or while using the script.
Cause: the ACE permission is not granted.
Solution: add this to your server.cfg and restart:
add_ace group.admin command.clawcreator allowThe permission name is set by Config.Creator.permission.
Cause: clawmachine-assets is not running, or it starts after the main resource.
Solution: ensure the assets :
ensure clawmachine-assets
ensure qs-clawmachineThis is also what causes the creator to report that a model could not be loaded.
Cause: the prop does not exist on your server. The console warns about the missing model.
Solution: swap the model in Config.Prizes.catalog for a prop you actually have. The prize is skipped, not fatal — the machine keeps working without it.
Cause: the item does not exist in your inventory, or detection picked the wrong inventory resource.
Solution: add the definitions from the items/ folder and restart your inventory. If detection is wrong, name the resource explicitly:

Cause: the image is missing from your inventory's image folder.
Solution: the item name is the image name. Drop peluche_01.png … peluche_08.png into:

Cause: the machine is not for sale.
Solution: machines are only for sale when they were placed with defaultForSale, or when an admin puts them up for sale from the creator panel.
Cause: the machine is player-owned.
Solution: this is intentional — owned machines are not auto-restocked, since restocking is what the owner is paying for. The owner refills it from the G panel.
Set Config.Gameplay.autoRestockOwned = true if you want them refilled for free too. Unowned machines already refill themselves 15 seconds after running out.
Cause: the model has not been calibrated.
Solution: the four cabinets that ship are already done. A custom model must be measured in game with the calibration commands — starting with /clawzone.
Do not guess the offsets by hand.
Cause: they are gated behind Config.Debug.enabled.
Solution: set it to true while calibrating — and back to false before going live.
Cause: the price, odds or payouts have drifted from the default balance.
Solution: raise the price, lower Config.Gameplay.carryChance, or lower the payouts in Config.Prizes.catalog.
The default balance is built around a price of 100 per drop. Below that, players farm the machine; above 300, nobody plays.
Cause: its id was renamed in the catalog.
Solution: never rename an id once machines are carrying that prize — stored machines reference it by id. Restore the original id, or restock the affected machines.
Cause: the player walked too far from the cabinet.
Solution: this is expected. Config.Gameplay.autoCloseDistance (3.0 m by default) ends the session when the player moves away.
Cause: your locale file is incomplete or outdated after an update.
Solution: copy the missing key from the English locale into your language file. Locale files are read at runtime, so a resource restart is enough — no rebuild needed.
Cause: it is not exposed on purpose.
Solution: the arcade audio, camera work, animations, claw speeds, grab geometry and the way the prize pile is built are calibrated against the cabinets and props the resource ships with. Nothing is missing — those values are fixed by design.
