Fixes for the most common Restaurant Creator problems: creator permissions, missing props or tables, empty kiosks, missing ingredients, POS delivery, TV screens, boss menu permissions and supply deliveries.
What goes wrong most often, what it actually means, and what to do about it. The quoted messages are the ones players see in game, in English.
Only framework admins (ESX admin/superadmin; QBCore and Qbox god/admin or the command ace) and the jobs in Config.CreatorJobs get in. Check your group, or add your job and grade to the list. See Who Can Use the Creator.
database/database.sql has not been imported, or was imported into another database than the one in your mysql_connection_string. Import it and restart.
qs-restaurant-props is not started. It streams the buns, patties, dough, toppings, rolling pin, oven and fryer. Add ensure qs-restaurant-props before the script and restart.
No supported inventory was running when the script started. Start your inventory before qs-restaurant-creator, or add its folder name to the inventories list if it was renamed (Renamed Resources).
The fryer tried to play its sizzle with no 3D sound resource running. Install one of the three, or ignore it — frying still works, silently.
Copy the images from [INSTALLATION]/PNG into your inventory's image folder. The file names must match the item names.
Every point must be inside the restaurant's zone — including its height. Redraw Zone Points so it covers the spot, raising the height with Z / X for upper floors and counters.
Two restaurants cannot overlap. Draw this one so it stops before the neighbour's outline, or edit the neighbour.
It needs at least four points and a minimum perimeter (Config.MinPointLength). Spread the points around the whole building.
Something required is missing — it is marked "… is required" in the form. A restaurant needs a label, a colour, the zone, a delivery location and at least one kiosk; with the blip on, also its name and position; and every cooking system switched on needs its stations placed.
A recipe is only on sale when it has a price above $0, a category, and its cooking system is switched on in the boss menu's Recipes tab. Create a category in Kiosk Menu first, then assign it.
The restaurant is set to Closed. Open it from the boss menu — Dashboard quick actions or Settings.
They are not a worker of that restaurant. Restaurant staff are separate from framework jobs — hire them in the boss menu's Workers tab (or with HireWorker).
The cook does not carry what the recipe needs; the panel lists required against available. Buy them in the Supply Shop or keep them in a fridge. For a server without ingredients, set Config.BurgerRequireItems or Config.PizzaRequireItems to false.
Every pizza cooking location is baking. Collect the finished pizzas, or add more cooking locations in the creator.
Customer too far — they must be within 5 m (Config.PosTerminalSettings.deliveryRadius).
Customer not found — they disconnected.
Needs fries, a drink or a dish — the delivering worker must be carrying those items; only burgers and pizzas are created at delivery.
GTA draws every TV of the same model from one shared screen, so when two restaurants are close, each TV type shows the restaurant nearest the player. Keep restaurants with screens apart, or give one of them a different model and render target in Config.DisplaySettings.types.
The worker's rank lacks that tab's permission. The owner — or a rank with Edit Ranks — adds it in the Ranks tab. Workers with no rank see only the Dashboard.
The owner is set in the creator's Owner field, not by framework job. Check the field was saved, and that the restaurant has a Boss Menu Location.
No item is for sale. An admin opens /restcreator → Allowed Items, allows the item, switches on Shop and gives it a price above 0.
With paymentSource = 'choice', the balance is offered only to the owner and ranks with Withdraw Money. With 'player' it is never offered.
It arrives deliveryTime seconds after ordering (60 by default) at the restaurant's Delivery Location. Players within 100 m are told when it lands. If it is still missing, check the location in the creator.
The whole order goes to the player who claims it. Make room, or have someone with space claim it — the crate stays until claimed.
Correct by default — connect it to your status system with the snippet in Hunger and Thirst.
Still stuck? Open a ticket with your framework and inventory, the red lines from the server console, and the F8 console output from the moment it happened. Setting
Config.Debug = truewhile you reproduce it adds detail to both.
