How Integrations Work#
Everyday Home doesn't talk to any other resource. It loads five models into the game, and that's all. A housing script uses a shell by model name, so integrating the pack means adding those names to the housing script's own shell list. There is no bridge file, framework detection or export involved.
Housing script | What to do |
|---|---|
| Paste the ready-made |
Any other shell-based script | Add each model name to that script's shell or interior list, in its own format. |
Quasar Housing#
In qs-housing's config, find Config.shells and add the five shells. Each entry gives the model name and the house storage that comes with it:
Config.shells = {
{ model = 'qs_housing_shell_med_01', stash = { maxweight = 1000000, slots = 5 } },
{ model = 'qs_housing_shell_med_02', stash = { maxweight = 1000000, slots = 5 } },
{ model = 'qs_housing_shell_med_03', stash = { maxweight = 1000000, slots = 5 } },
{ model = 'qs_housing_shell_small_01', stash = { maxweight = 1000000, slots = 5 } },
{ model = 'qs_housing_shell_small_02', stash = { maxweight = 1000000, slots = 5 } },
}Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| The shell's model name. It must match one of the five names exactly. |
| How much weight the house storage holds. |
| How many inventory slots the house storage has. |
The storage values are only a starting point, so change them to suit your economy. For example, a medium shell can get more slots than a small one. Any property can use any of the five shells; none is tied to a price or a housing type. Restart qs-housing after you edit its config.
Other Housing Scripts#
Any FiveM housing, apartment or motel script that spawns shells can use the pack. Look for the place where that script lists its shells or interiors, then add the five model names. These scripts usually ask for:
The model name, for example
qs_housing_shell_small_01.A door offset, meaning where the player appears relative to the shell's origin. Find it by spawning the shell, standing just inside the front door and noting your position relative to the shell.
Optional extras such as storage size, a wardrobe point or a price tier, depending on the script.
