Creating your first chess table#
Once Quasar Chess has been installed successfully, join your server with an administrator account and execute the /chesscreator command. This opens the Chess Creator, where every table on your server can be created, edited, or removed.
To create a new table, press the + button in the top-right corner of the creator. Enter a name for the table, choose whether the game should be free or require an entry fee, and select the payment method if a fee is enabled. The name is only used internally by administrators and is never shown to players.
Press Place to enter placement mode. A transparent preview of the chess table appears in front of you and follows your crosshair. Rotate it with Z and X, adjust its height with the mouse wheel, then confirm the position by pressing E or Left Mouse Button. Press Backspace at any time to cancel the placement.
After confirming the position, return to the creator and press Save Table. The table is immediately synchronized for every connected player and stored inside the database, allowing it to persist after every server restart. The required chairs are created automatically, so there is no need to place them manually.
