How the Pack Works#

Paleto House Interiors has nothing to open and nothing to configure in game. Once it is running, the 28 Paleto Bay houses have interiors you can walk into. Everything else, such as who owns a house, whether the door is locked and what furniture is inside, belongs to your housing script.

Part	What it does
The houses	28 MLO interiors, each placed by its own IPL, `quasar_housing_paleto_house<number>_place`.
The replaced exteriors	Edited copies of the original GTA V buildings, collisions and occlusion of the area, so the doorways open and the walls line up with the rooms inside.

Element	Details
Interior	Walls, floors and ceilings for every room of the house. The rooms are empty and ready to be furnished.
Windows	Glass you can see through from both sides, so the street is visible from inside and the rooms from outside.
Collision	A collision mesh per house, so players, vehicles and placed furniture stand on the floors and stop at the walls.
Front door	Every house uses the same door and frame models, `quasar_housing_paleto_house_door` and `quasar_housing_paleto_house_doorframe`. The door opens and closes like a GTA V door, and a housing or door lock script can lock it.
Interior audio	Room audio settings and audio occlusion, so rain, traffic, gunshots and sirens sound muffled and distant from inside a closed house.
Textures	One shared texture dictionary for the whole pack, so the houses share their materials instead of each loading its own.

Value	When to use it
`50.0`	Default. Houses load just before you reach them on foot.
`75.0` to `100.0`	Players drive through Paleto fast and see the houses change as they arrive. More houses stay loaded at once.
Below `40.0`	Not recommended. The front of a house may change while the player is already looking at it.
