Install the Paleto House Interiors MLO pack on your FiveM server: requirements, CFX Portal download, server.cfg load order with qs-housing, and how to check the 28 houses load.
Paleto House Interiors is a map resource. It has no database, no config file and nothing to set up for your framework. Check these points before you install it:
Requirement | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
FiveM server | Required | A recent FXServer artifact. The resource uses |
Framework | Not needed | Runs the same on ESX, QBCore, Qbox and standalone servers. |
Database | Not needed | There is no SQL file. Nothing is saved by the map. |
Housing script | Recommended | To sell, rent and lock the houses. Housing Creator (qs-housing) supports MLO houses out of the box. |
After you buy Paleto House Interiors, the resource is linked to your CFX Portal account.
Go to portal.cfx.re/assets/granted-assets. This page lists every asset bought with your Cfx.re account.
Assets are tied to the Cfx.re account used during the purchase. If you sign in with a different one, the pack will not be listed.
Find Paleto Interiors [map] in the list, download it and extract the archive.
After extracting the download, you should have this folder:
paleto_interiors/
├── audio/ -- interior audio data for each house
├── stream/
│ ├── _manifestPALETO.ymf
│ └── paleto/ -- the 28 interiors, doors, textures and collisions
│ └── vanilla/ -- the GTA V buildings and occlusion this pack replaces
├── client.lua -- the proximity loader
└── fxmanifest.luaKeep the folder structure as it is and do not move or rename files inside
stream/oraudio/. The only setting you may change is the load distance inclient.lua, described in Usage. The folder name itself is free: nothing in the pack depends on it.
Move the paleto_interiors folder into your server's resources directory. A [maps] category folder keeps your maps together:
resources/
└── [maps]/
└── paleto_interiors/Then open your server.cfg and start it. Put maps before your housing script, so the interiors exist before houses are created on top of them:
# Maps
ensure paleto_interiors
# Housing
ensure qs-housingIf you start your maps with a whole category, such as ensure [maps], there is nothing more to add.
Restart the server and check the console. The resource should start with no errors:
Started resource paleto_interiorsThen join the server and check a house:
Teleport with your admin menu to 35.28, 6664.57, 31.23, on the north-east side of Paleto Bay. Every other house is in the Map Guide.
Open the front door and step inside. You should see an empty interior with lights, solid floors and windows that look out onto the street.
Press F8 in game. There should be no streaming or asset errors that mention quasar_housing_paleto.
The house is empty or the old GTA V building is still there? Read Common Errors. The cause is almost always another map that streams the same area, or a client that kept old cache files.
