Install the Foundations Living FiveM MLO pack: download the four maps from the CFX Portal, add them to server.cfg and verify the Cottage Park, power plant, electronics store and lumberjack interiors.
Foundations Living is made of four map resources. They contain only streamed models, textures and collisions — no scripts — so the list of requirements is short.
Requirement | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Up-to-date FXServer artifacts | Required | The maps are protected by the Cfx.re asset escrow ( |
The Cfx.re account that bought the pack | Required |
Your server's license key must belong to that same account, or the maps refuse to start.
Framework | Not needed | Works on ESX, QBCore, Qbox, ox_core, ND and standalone servers. |
Database | Not needed | There is no SQL to import and nothing is written to your database. |
After purchasing Foundations Living, the four maps are linked automatically to your CFX Portal account.
Go to portal.cfx.re/assets/granted-assets and sign in with the same Cfx.re account used at checkout. Any other account will not see the maps.
Find and download each of these:
Cottage Park [map]
Electrician [map]
Electronic Shop [map]
Lumberjack Entrance [map]
Each download is one resource folder:
qs_cottage_park/ -- gardener cabin, Cottage Park
qs_electrician/ -- electrician office, power plant
qs_electronic_shop/ -- electronics store
qs_lamberjack_entrance/ -- lumberjack entrance and garage
# inside every folder
├── fxmanifest.lua
├── .fxap -- escrow licence, do not delete
└── stream/ -- models, textures, collisionsKeep the folders exactly as downloaded. Do not rename them, delete the
.fxapfile or move files out ofstream/— the escrow checks all three.
Move the four folders into your server's resources directory. A [maps] category keeps them together:
resources/
└── [maps]/
├── qs_cottage_park/
├── qs_electrician/
├── qs_electronic_shop/
└── qs_lamberjack_entrance/Then start them in your server.cfg. Either one line per map:
ensure qs_cottage_park
ensure qs_electrician
ensure qs_electronic_shop
ensure qs_lamberjack_entranceOr the whole category at once:
ensure [maps]Load order does not matter for the maps themselves. Scripts that use them — jobs, door locks, shops — can start before or after.
Restart the server and watch the console. Each map should start without any escrow or Failed to verify protected resource message. Then check them in game:
Use the coordinates in the Map Guide with your admin menu's teleport.
The new building should stand where the original one was, with no doubled or flickering walls.
Go through every room. Lights should be on, the floor solid, and the outside should not vanish when you look back through a window or door.
There is nothing to configure. Once the four maps load, they are ready. To give them gameplay, continue with Integrations; if something looks wrong, see Common Errors.
