Water War Creator Does Not Open#
If /waterwarcreator reports a permission error, verify that your administrator account has the required permissions.
Quasar Water War supports ACE permissions, framework administrator permissions, and configurable job-based permissions. Every creator action is validated server-side, so reconnecting alone will not resolve permission issues.
Arenas Cannot Be Saved#
Arena creation requires at least four polygon points and a valid arena name.
If saving fails, verify that your polygon is complete and that the database has been imported successfully. The arena is only stored once all validation requirements have been met.
Arenas Disappear After Restart#
Arena data is stored inside the waterwar_arenas database table.
If every arena disappears after restarting the server, verify that the SQL file was imported correctly and that oxmysql is connected successfully.
Hits Do Not Register#
Water War requires OneSync to detect weapon hit events.
If players can shoot each other without scoring points, verify that OneSync is enabled, the watergun resource is running, and both players are participating in the same active arena.
Rewards Are Not Given#
Only the top three players receive rewards at the end of each battle, and only players who scored at least one point qualify.
Also verify that your framework supports the configured money type and that players have enough inventory space for reward items.
Players Enter the Arena but Nothing Happens#
If entering an arena does not start the battle, verify that the player is actually inside the polygon and that arena zones are not overlapping.
Arena height is also configurable. If your arena spans multiple floors, increase the polygon thickness to ensure players are detected correctly.
Water Gun Does Not Work#
If players receive the water gun but hits never register or the weapon is missing, verify that the watergun resource starts before qs-waterwar and that the weapon has not been renamed or replaced.
The battle system expects the default WEAPON_WATERGUN configuration.
Water Effects Look Incorrect#
If the water jet is missing or pointing in the wrong direction, use /waterfxdebug to calibrate the particle effect.
After finding the correct values, copy the generated configuration into Config.WaterFx to make the changes permanent.
