Before we show a single line of code, there's something we want to make clear: Quasar Store wouldn't exist without the community that has backed us for years. Every server that opens its doors running our scripts, every developer who reports a bug at three in the morning, every owner who writes in asking for one specific feature — all of that is literally what shapes our roadmap.
That's why this article isn't a marketing campaign. It's an open devlog. We're going to tell you what we're working on, where each project stands, what you can already try today, and what's still in the oven. No touched-up screenshots, no promises we can't keep, and no hiding the parts we still have to polish.
There's a solid reason for that: we believe an informed customer makes better decisions. If you know exactly what you're getting, how it works under the hood, and where it's headed, you're not buying a script — you're adopting a tool you'll be able to maintain for years. That's the difference between selling and sticking around.
Loyalty isn't asked for, it's earned. And it's earned by shipping updates nobody forced you to make.

If you already bought the script, the remaster is yours. We don't charge twice for the same resource.
We don't just explain what each config does, but why it's built that way and how to adapt it.
Clear structure, exported functions, and documented events so you can integrate without guessing.
Much of what you'll read in this devlog started as a ticket, a Discord thread, or a direct message.
Backrooms: the full remake (now a true horror game)#
Let's start with the most ambitious project. Quasar Store's Backrooms has been rebuilt from scratch. It's not a patch, it's not an add-on, it's not "an update with some new content." It's a complete remake, and the goal was very specific: stop being an atmospheric setting and become a true horror game, playable from start to finish inside your server.
To give you a sense of the scale, let's start with the number that sums it up best: more than 70 custom sounds. Seventy. Not recycled generic effects, but a bespoke sound library designed for this game. And those of us who've been making horror for a while know one thing: fear comes in through the ears. That number alone tells you how much content is dragging behind it.

LEVEL X
Four to five rooms, and a different monster in each one#
The remake ships with at least 4-5 completely distinct rooms. And here's the core of the design: every room has its own monster and its own mechanics. It's not the same enemy with a different texture chasing you down a different hallway. Each level forces you to learn a brand new set of rules:
One monster may react to sound, forcing you to move slowly and think twice before every sprint.
Another may react to light, turning your flashlight into a double-edged weapon.
Another may play with sight and line of vision, punishing you for looking where you shouldn't.
And each one has its own patrol behavior, its own audio, and its own way of killing you.
That means you can't "learn" the game once and be done. Beating level 1 does not prepare you for level 3. This is real progression, not repetition.
LEVEL X is the highest level in the game and, without exaggeration, the largest and heaviest of the entire package. It's the final destination: the room where everything you learned in the previous levels converges, with the most content, the most detail, and the highest difficulty. Getting here is already an achievement. Getting out is another story.

It's the final destination: the room where everything you learned in the previous levels converges, with the most content, the most detail, and the highest difficulty. Getting here is already an achievement. Getting out is another story.
And now our favorite part. Every zone has dynamic phases: events that trigger mid-run and completely change how that room plays in that moment.
The perfect example is the alarm moment. Suddenly, the entire room turns red, an alarm starts blaring, and the lights begin to flicker. What was a walkable hallway a second ago becomes a strobe-lit hell where you can barely orient yourself — and where the monster knows exactly where you are.

QS-Interface: the remaster you can already try in beta#
Good news — and the kind you get to enjoy today: QS-Interface (Quasar Interface) is getting a full remaster, and it can already be tested in beta. This isn't an announcement for six months from now. It's there, available, waiting for you.
QS-Interface has always been the resource servers touch most, because the HUD is the first thing a player sees when they join and the last thing they see when they leave. If the HUD is ugly, slow, or generic, your server looks generic. That's why this remaster focused on two things: customization freedom and visual cleanliness.
Side-by-side comparison: the original QS-Interface vs. the remastered version
The heart of the update is the new HUD editor. Faster, clearer, and far more flexible: you place, move, enable, and disable elements visually, seeing the result in real time. No editing files blind, and no reloading the resource fifty times to nudge an icon five pixels to the left.
The remaster arrives with completely new interfaces, built for different server styles:
Racing Mode
Clean Mode
Cyberpunk Mode
Ready-made presets
Built for servers centered on driving and competition, with exactly the information you need, where you need it.
Pure minimalism. Everything essential, none of the noise. Perfect for serious, immersive roleplay.
Futuristic aesthetics, neon, and a strong personality for servers that want to stand out.
You don't start from zero: install it, pick a preset, and you've got a professional HUD running.

Quasar Jobs: 10+ jobs, all remastered and already downloadable#
This one we're especially excited to share, because it's pure commitment to the people who already trusted us: every Quasar Job is being remastered. And we're not talking about one or two. We're talking about more than 10 completely unique jobs, each with its own identity, its own mechanics, and its own progression.
Best of all: their beta versions are already available to download whenever you want. No waitlist, no paid early access. If you own the job, you have the beta.

What does "remastered" actually mean here? It means reviewing the entire job: performance, interfaces, activity flow, compatibility, and feel. A well-made job isn't a list of repetitive tasks — it's a reason for your players to log in again tomorrow. That's the bar we're holding the whole collection to.

We've been dying to show this one. We're working on a complete arcade system, recreating the famous GTA arcade DLC that so many people in the community have fond memories of.
And when we say complete, we mean it. This isn't a decorative cabinet with a menu slapped on top. We're talking about:
The arcade machines from the DLC, working and playable.
Native systems, leveraging what the game itself already provides for maximum fidelity and integration.
And much more that we'd rather save for the Direct.
The goal is to give your server a real social space: somewhere players meet up, compete, bet on a high score, and generate roleplay without an admin having to organize anything. The best server events are the ones that happen on their own.

Guitar Pro: literally Guitar Hero inside the game#
And there's still one more. We're building Guitar Pro, a script that is, plainly put, a full Guitar Hero inside the game.
Falling notes, rhythm, precision, combos, and that perfect mix of tension and adrenaline we all recognize. Except here you're not playing alone in your living room — you're performing in front of other players, on a stage, in a bar, at an event on your server. And that changes everything.

Transparency: how we work, and why we're telling you#
We could have kept all of this until Direct day and dropped it all at once. It would have been more dramatic. But we'd rather do it this way, and there are concrete reasons:
1. Because a public beta is an act of trust
Releasing QS-Interface and the Quasar Jobs in beta means showing you the work before it's perfect. It means accepting that you'll see rough edges. We do it anyway, because we'd rather the final version be tested by hundreds of real servers than by our test environment.
2. Because we want you to learn, not just install
Every remaster ships with documentation built to teach: how the resource is structured, what events it exposes, how to integrate it with your framework, and how to modify it without breaking it on the next update. A server whose team understands its scripts is a server that lasts for years.
3. Because updates aren't charged for twice
If you're already a customer, the remasters are yours. That's the deal, and there's no fine print.
4. Because we'd rather say "not yet" than lie
If something isn't ready, we say so. If a date moves, we say so. Credibility is the one asset you can't buy back.
August 29. That's where all of these projects get announced, along with plenty of things we haven't made public yet.
Is the Backrooms remake really a horror game?
Yes. It stops being an ambient map and becomes a complete playable experience: more than 70 custom sounds, 4-5 rooms, a monster with its own mechanics in each, a sanity system, a flashlight with batteries, usable lockers, loot zones, unique items, and dynamic phases like the alarm mode.
What is LEVEL X?
It's the highest level in Backrooms: the biggest and heaviest in the game. The final destination, and the hardest one to survive.
Can I try the qs-interface remaster already?
Yes, it's in beta and you can test it right now. It includes the new HUD editor, racing, clean, and cyberpunk modes, ready-made presets, a map border, and a top-screen compass.
Are the Quasar Jobs betas available?
Yes. Every remastered Quasar Job has a downloadable beta right now. That's more than 10 completely unique jobs.
Do I have to pay again for the remasters?
No. If you already own the resource, the remaster is included.
What does the arcade system include?
It's a recreation of GTA's famous arcade DLC: its playable arcade cabinets, native systems, and much more. Full details land at the Direct.
What is Guitar Pro?
A script that works literally like Guitar Hero inside the game: notes falling in time, combos, scoring, and live performances in front of other players.
Backrooms, QS-Interface, Quasar Jobs, the Arcade System, and Guitar Pro are only the projects we can talk about already. More FiveM scripts, updates, remasters, and surprises are coming.
