QChat Privacy Policy#

QChat is a mobile messaging application developed by Quasar Store for FiveM servers. By using QChat, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect#

To provide the services offered by QChat, we may collect and process the following information:

Account Information#

  • Password (securely stored)

  • Display name

  • Profile avatar

  • In-game phone number

User Content#

  • Text messages

  • Photos and videos you send

  • Group information and memberships

Call Information#

  • Call history

  • Date and time of calls

Device Information#

  • Application installation identifier

Information We Do Not Collect#

QChat is designed to minimize data collection. We do not collect:

  • Email addresses

  • Your personal contact list

  • GPS or precise location data

  • Analytics or tracking data for advertising purposes

How We Use Your Information#

Your information is used solely to provide and operate the features of QChat, including:

  • Authenticating your account.

  • Delivering messages, photos, videos, and voice messages.

  • Synchronizing conversations and account information.

Who We Share Your Data With#

Your data may be shared only with the services required to operate QChat:

Quasar Store#

Processes requests required to authenticate users and operate the application.

Your FiveM Server#

Stores your account information, messages, conversations, groups, contacts, and call history according to the configuration of the server you play on.

FiveManage#

Stores media files uploaded through the application, including images and videos.

We never sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Storage#

Most account and messaging data is stored by the FiveM server you connect to. Quasar Store only processes the information necessary for the operation of QChat.

Uploaded media files are stored through FiveManage.

Authentication tokens remain stored locally on your device until you sign out or uninstall the application.

Device Permissions#

QChat requests only the permissions necessary to provide its features.

Camera#

Used for:

  • Video calls

  • QR code login

Microphone#

Used for:

  • Voice calls

  • Voice messages

Photos & Media Library#

Used for:

  • Sending photos

  • Sending videos

  • Selecting media to upload

Notifications#

Used for:

  • Incoming message notifications

  • Incoming voice and video call notifications

Notifications are generated only for application functionality.

Your Rights and Choices#

You remain in control of your information. At any time, you may:

  • Sign out to remove authentication tokens from your device.

  • Delete chats or conversations within the application.

  • Revoke camera, microphone, photo library, or notification permissions through your device settings.

  • Contact us to request account deletion, where applicable.

Please note that information stored by individual FiveM servers may also be subject to the policies established by those server owners.

Data Security#

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

However, no method of electronic storage or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children's Privacy#

QChat is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect legal requirements, security improvements, or new features within QChat.
